What is Chelation Therapy
?
Chelation is a
non-surgical, safe and painless intravenous treatment of
the heavy metal accumulation in the body
that causes so many health problems including hardening
of the arteries, heart disease, stroke, arthritis,
chronic fatigue, Parkinson's Disease multiple sclerosis and other degenerative
diseases. It is the most effective anti-ageing treatment
there is today. It is also recommended for prevention
in those with a strong
family history of heart disease. Chelation has been
used since the 1950s to treat heavy metal poisoning and
remains the standard treatment for this
condition. Chelation therapy is not officially approved

How does Chelation therapy work
?
The chemical EDTA (ethylene
diamine tetra acetic acid) along with vitamins and minerals,is
given in an intravenous drip over a period of three hours,
EDTA binds with (chelates) and removes,through the kidneys,
toxic metals such as lead,aluminium,cadmium,arsenic,tin,and
excess iron and copper to name a few.These heavy metals
trigger the formation of free radicals which are a major cause
of degenerative illnesses,including heart and blood vessel
disease.By removing heavy metals,free radical damage is
significantly reduced or reversed.
EDTA also restores enzymatic
function,normalises calcium metabolism,protects the integrity
of platelets (making them less sticky), encourages metabolic
efficiency and helps re-establish prostaglandin hormone
balance which in turn prevents arterial spasm,blood clots and
plaque formation.
